Dorset County Museum

‘Our Sporting Life’ (OSL) is a national project celebrating the Olympic games and sport in Britain throughout 2012 through a series of exhibitions and events, exploring the diverse and exciting world of sport in the UK.  To celebrate the Olympics coming to Dorset, Dorset County Museum and Poole Museum have developed a series of exhibitions and events using the Our Sporting Life model supported by a Heritage Lottery Fund Grant.

Our Sporting Life is a community led project to be delivered throughout Dorset through participating museums and is dependent on the support of the sporting community within Dorset. This project will present well defined themes complemented by interesting stories, attention-grabbing objects and engaging photographs.
